I would, however, refer you to paragraph 50 of despatch No.45 of the 18th of February, 1895 [Ch.49] and ask you further to report to me whether there would not be an advantage in appointing a Lady Doctor, as in the case of Ceylon, to be placed summarily in charge of the Hospital for Women and Children, as well as of the special venereal ward for women, if that is not attached to the Hospital in question.
